AFRICAN PREMIER LEAGUE 2025
This is going to be a full Sunday league; its main objectives are to create a competitive soccer environment to elevate young talented players.
The league shall be running for more than 10 weeks and breaks in between.
The cash prizes shall be confirmed before the start of the league. There is a $200 registration fee per team and each player in the team must procure a "Player License" for a $20 flat fee. A team may not participate in the tournament if it has less than 16 players registered.
There shall be a $5 gate fee per person going on the pitch. The money from the license is going towards prices and money from the gate goes towards the renting of the pitch. The pitch is the most expensive and estimated of 10weeks runs over $12000, the money collected at the gate can go a long way to guarantee the field of play.
The league shall be run on a professional soccer standard. We want to try as much as we can to professionalize the social aspect of the association most especially streaming live, this is to enable players and teams to be able to review their matches and have highlights, it is a project we are determined to accomplish.
Each team must present players and administrators with a 4x4 passport size photo, and a contract form.
The league shall be played at Cullen Park 19008 Saums Road, Houston TX 77084
We belief in progress and transparency we shall be reaching out to interested sponsors we want to make our league the best in our city.
RULES AND REGULATIONS

The league shall contain a minimum of 12 teams, each team shall play all other teams in the league.

The league shall start on or after 02/04/2024, the end date shall depend on the number of teams we have for the league.

Games shall be played every Sunday. each team shall be responsible for the cost of the referee and games shall be 35x2.

They shall be a $5 fee at the entrance of the pitch this is going to help the league have good field of play as the league shall be for over 12weeks and the cost of renting shall be very high, also enabling us to give prices and we are looking forward to investing more on videos so matches can be broadcast live on our channels and teams can get professional replays rematch and highlights of their matches. The video project is the most important though cameras are very expensive, but we are looking forward to how to connect with interested sponsors to make it happen.

A player license shall cost $20 per player, the number of players per team is unlimited and the number of licenses a team has shall determine the squared of that team.

The total amount of cash prizes shall be made known before the start of the tournament, when we are sure of the total number of teams we have for the season, the prices shall consist of the following:
- 1st place, medals plus trophy and cash prize
- 2nd place, medals plus trophy and cash prize
- 3rd place, medals plus trophy and cash prize
- 4th place, cash prize
- Best player of the league, trophy, medal and cash prize Highest goal scorer, trophy, medal and cash prize
- Best midfielder of the league, trophy, medal and cash prize Best goalkeeper trophy, medal, cash prize
- Best coach trophy medals and cash prize
- Best discipline team trophy medal and cash prize Best midfielder trophy medal and cash prize Best defender trophy medals and cash prize

A yellow card is $5, and a red card is $20. A player with a red miss the next game or pays $25 to aboard the suspension.

The playoffs shall be determined and discussed by the organizing committee.

Each participant must be registered and issued a player license. A player must present a license before participating.

Each team and player must be registered through the website.

If a squad has less than seven players during the game after several red cards or injuries, it is stopped, and the other team gets the victory.

The referee must know beforehand the names of the substituted players.
A player not included on the list previously handed to the ref can't be
part of the game afterward.

The referee must be notified before a substitution is made; then, the
referee indicates when the substitution will happen. Players can't decide
when to get in or out of the field.

Each team is responsible for the cost of the referee the amount shall be discuss and agreed by each team and the games shall be a minimum of 35x2

The substitute player must wait for a stoppage in the game; they can only get in once their teammate is out of the field and after the referee gives them permission to get inside the field.

Any field player can replace the goalie; the referee must be informed first.

Captains don't have any kind of privilege different from the rest of their teammates, but they are responsible for their teammates' behavior.

Players can't wear jewelry. Necklaces, rings, bracelets, earrings, rubber, and leather bands are forbidden.

A player's required uniform is a shirt with sleeves, shorts, and socks. If the player applies tape or any other element to its socks, the material must match the socks' color.

Shin guards must be made from proper material to protect the player's shin, and they must be covered by socks. Goalkeepers can wear tracksuit pants; no player will play without a shin guard.

teams must wear colors that distinguish them clearly.
Goalkeepers' colors must be different from their teammates'. Tights must match the predominant color of the shorts or the lowest part of the shorts.

The players of the same team must wear the same color of thighs.

A player who got out of the field to change their equipment must be checked by one of the officials outside the pitch before going inside it again.

A referee has full authority to enforce the game's laws. The decisions will be made by the ref following the game's spirit, according to their ability to judge the game situations.

The ref has the final word in each decision to be made during the game, whether it is if a goal is valid or not, an offside, a foul, a yellow or red card, goal kick, and so forth.

Their decisions must be respected and obeyed. If the referee realizes that they were wrong after sanctioning a foul, they may not go back in their judgment if the ball is already back into play.

However, if the referee observes in the VAR that a red or yellow card was poorly applied after halftime, the referee can change a decision about an event that happened before the end of the first half.

If a referee gets injured, the game continues with the rest of the
officials' supervision until the ball goes out of play.

The referee is the leading authority inside the field. They receive assistance from the rest of the officials.

The ref is responsible for controlling the game time, writing down sanctioned players and goal scorers' names. They are accountable for allowing advantage; this lets the game continue after an infraction that affects a player but not their team in an offensive movement.

They must punish serious offenses and dictate the rhythm of the game. They must indicate to the players when to stop and when to start playing.

Referees are responsible for checking the goals, the field's condition, and the players' availability inscribed in the list. They are also accountable to show red or yellow cards to players when they commit an infraction.

After the game is over, the referee must send a report to the Association authorities with every game's incident.

If a substitute player or a staff member insult or offends someone in the field, the referee must either send them off or show a yellow card. If the ref can't identify the offender, the coach receives the sanction.

Both halves of a soccer match and both halves of extra time start with a kick-off. The kick-off also restarts the game after a goal.

Before the game begins, the referee tosses a coin in the presence of both captains and decides who will have the first kickoff.

The winner of the toss chooses whether to take the early kickoff or pick one side of the field to play.

For a kick-off, every player, except the one taking the kick-off, must be in their own halves of the pitch. The rivals must be in their half, but outside the center circle of the field.

A dropped ball is called by the ref when the game must be stopped for any reason other than a foul or an infraction.

For instance, when a player is injured on the floor or when someone from the crowd invades the pitch. When the ball hits the referee, they must also call a dropped ball.

In the dropped ball restart, the referee calls a player from each team, asks them to face each other, and drops the ball between them. When the ball touches the floor is on the play, and the players can claim it.
